The Factors Influencing the Duration of Volunteer’s Voluntary Activities

Abstract

|
The purposes of this study are to find out ￡he factors influencing the duration of volunteers` voluntary activities and to suggest the measures to lead the students to constantly participate in voluntary activities by investigating how strong influence of the factors has. In addition, the study is to present scientific managed plans and ways to vitalize, which people that need volunteers are able to use continuously college student volunteers. So as to verify the hypothesis, the survey was conducted on college students living in Daegu and Gyeongsan-si from August 30th, 2010 to September 18th, 2010. The data were collected from 328 students and analyzed by using four statistical methods: T -test, correlation analysis, ANOVA, multiple regression analysis. In accordance with the data, a following conclusion is drawn. The factors influencing the duration of volunteers` voluntary activities are interests, approval rating, volunteer work and volunteer work satisfaction. This survey shows the higher these four factors, the higher the duration of volunteer activities.
